2001 Annual Meeting Report:
All-of-us Express Children's Theatre

Preparing for Change

Our new business plan lays out six goals and how to attain them:

  1. Raise $35,000 in additional revenues by September 30, 2002 and adjust annually for the next 4 years to hire and maintain staff and fund office equipment needs
  2. Secure paid staff to manage all professional aspects of the organization
  3. Computerize all student, donor, membership, financial and patron data on organizational hardware and software
  4. Develop volunteer leadership to insure long-term organizational growth
  5. Secure space from which to operate the Theatre for a minimum of 10 years
  6. Offer productions and classes of the highest quality

These agree well with the goals developed during the June 1996 brainstorming session:

  1. A paid staff
  2. Improved facilities
  3. Financial solvency / endowment / good cash flow
  4. Name recognition
  5. Fundraising success
  6. More opportunities for more people
We know where we need to go. We now have a detailed plan for reaching our destination! Evelyn is working full time during the next 15 months as Executive Director to start us on this journey. If we all pitch in and help we should be able to let Evelyn return to directing our shows in the fall of 2002!

I personally want to thank the many folks who have contributed time, talent, energy and money to All-of-us Express during the past year! We truly could not do what we do without your help!

[It's that time again!]
Yes, it's that time again!
